Virginity and pain

This complex and feeling had killed many people of their self esteem and robbed them of their integrity and dignity because they lack the understanding of who they are, what they represent and the glorious gift they have.

Inferiority is the state or feeling of being inferior, meaning a state when a man look at himself as being very low to the standard of certain environment, region, set of people or a kingdom

While VIRGINITY is a state of being a VIRGIN, in relation to human mean a person who has never had sexual intercourse

The world of today had really gone bad that people are made to feel inferior for keeping themselves and remaining loyal to the commandment of God and some other people for whatever reason (be it personal dignity or vow to oneself or God), that they will not defile the bed or defile the temple of God before marriage.

I will not want anyone to feel bad or guilty defiling his or her bed before now, that was why I gave the teaching ahead of how many people got entangled and some being deceived into sexual immoralities, some were raped while some were ignorantly abused. Some started by mistake and made it worse by continuing intentionally.

But remember that the major aim and purpose of our teachings here is that we may see our weaknesses, limitations and shortcoming and following the kingdom way and principles of becoming free and finding our ways back to God

Also remember that the son of man and the word (Jesus) did not come to condemn or judge but rather to save the unsaved. Remember that he who is healthy needs no medication and likewise he who is saved needs no repentance but those that are not saved must repent else, God will judge them.

Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled:  but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.”…..1. But our world today had made many compromise their faith and edited their believe systems, where you will see a young lady being laughed at among friends for being and still remaining as a virgin, even at a tender age of 13-17 years; imagine !!!

It is a world you will see a young boy of 14 chasing girls and telling them virginity is rubbish. I’ve heard people say, if you are still a virgin, you can’t be their friend because you are low to their standard and many people foolishly will join foolish ideology and saying and end up compromising their faith and believe

There are many guys that find pleasure in defiling ladies and one of the dead lies I’ve heard from people is that, if you are a virgin as a lady and you retained it till you marry, your husband will tell you to go out and get rid of it, then come back home for the honeymoon. Imagine that rubbish

I’ve discovered that most people having courage to victimize people in their circle for being virgins are suffering from insecurity and complex and they will find every way to make sure you become like them. What a pity that many of our Christian brothers and sisters fell victim of this lies and ended up compromising their faith and believe because they really want to feel among and belong

You will be a blessing if you can send this teaching to as many teenagers and young adult you know and willing to be a blessing to them, you can conduct it as a teaching in your groups because this is what most of our teenagers are facing as part of the peer pressure that is killing and destroying their destinies

Some are not virgins, they made the mistake in the past and they really wish and wanted to be serious with God again by forsaking their old ways and turn a new live (I will talk more on becoming a virgin again in the last part of this series) but they are being confused and castigated by friends and even family members.

Know so well that the journey of life is individualistic and my father “Bishop David Oyedepo” will say; it is foolishness to be shameful of what is gainful. I was once there and I know what it feels like to leave, many will laugh at you, they will test you and tempt you, but yet, if you can stand and pray for grace, you will overcome just like me for this is my testimony

HOW CAN ONE OVERCOME THIS INFERIORITY OF BEING A VIRGIN

1 Recognition: Know so well that virginity can’t be purchased with currency and yet it is precious. You really have to know how valuable you are for keep your virginity, I know there will be pressure from every angle among which are boyfriends/girlfriends, bad friends and colleagues. Separate yourself from them. Bad company corrupts good manner

You have to believe this and resolve it in your heart that virginity is precious and priceless, know that every responsible men pray and wish to marry a virgin, only that it may be very difficult in this dispensation because this lies had really eaten many up, because fornication and adultery is the song of the town in our today’s world

But still, you should not be deceived and ignorantly give it out so cheap, if you do, you have sinned against God and cheated yourself.

Haven’t you seen a guy running after a lady for years and pressurizing the lady for sex and if the lady says no, he will not give up, he will remain committed and persistent but as soon as the lady failed or stop to realize how precious she is and give it out to the guy, in less than 3 months to that time, the relationship will crumble and the guy will break up

Do you why, there is something so precious about you that money can’t buy, but once you are deceived to give it out and you do, you have lost the precious stone and the thief will leave in search for another.

Recognize what you have and guide it will all diligence and jealousy. Remember that what you did not recognize you will never value and what you did not value is permitted to leave your life.

2 Create a system to do away with all temptation (ungodly friends and associates): This is very important, you may recognize this truth (the first point) and still fall victim of the circumstance.

Remember our father and mother in the garden of Eden, Adam and Eve knew so well that they are not supposed to eat the fruit at the middle of the garden which is the tree of the knowledge of good and evil

But they were so careless enough that an unwanted enemy became a sudden friend that destroyed them, so it is necessary for everyone to do away with every friend and associate that you have sensed or know that they don’t have the same conviction and believe with you.

If you allow men (referring to both gender) to destroy you, they will end up abusing you and call you foolish, you life is in two hands alone; God almighty who is the giver of life and the allocator of purpose, and secondly it is your hand. Let what people say not disturb you, if they cannot help or make you, they shouldn’t destroy you and this is what majority are doing to people, separate yourself and you shall laugh in the end.

Virginity is a good gift from God, regardless of your gender; cherish and value it.
